Valerie has a diverse and eclectic work history that includes, among other things: a stint as the youngest Wig & Make-up Artist at the San Francisco Opera; 5 years in the US Army as a CH-47 helicopter mechanic & crew chief, serving in CONUS, Korea, and Germany; she was a systems implementer for Coca-Cola, traveling 100% of the time around the Continental US and Hawaii; she managed an indoor self-storage in downtown San Francisco; she also spent a few years as an Over-the-Road truck driver, during which time she drove through all of the Lower 48 states, and most of Lower Canada. From a business and organizational perspective, Valerie has "seen it all."

Eventually Valerie settled on a paralegal career, and has assisted attorneys ever since, with 11+ years of experience:  9 years in the California, Federal, and Appellate Courts, and most recently in the Colorado and Wyoming Courts. Valerie takes seriously her quasi-legal support roll, assisting attorneys in legal research, case investigation, medical and employment claim analysis and verification, trial support, and the many activities involved in assisting firm members and clients.  She is invaluable in the legal analysis of incoming evidence for trial and efforts to case resolution.  Based upon her experience, Valerie knows business, quickly recognizes legal issues, and can analyze and organize inquiries for rapid attorney response to clients.  Valerie has a Bachelor's of Business Management from the Army Degree Completion Program/University of Texas, and a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Duke University.  Valerie is a Notary Public for the State of Colorado.
