“Do Not Resuscitate”
(DNR) requests are legal documents signed by a medical patient with orders for medical personnel to refrain from extraordinary efforts to resuscitate him/her during a serious medical event. Often, DNR orders are produced and signed near the end of a person’s life, and on the decision to forego heroic medical procedures to extend life.
Do Not Resuscitate Orders are often requested from one’s primary medical provider (family doctor), who can archive a DNR order in the persons medical chart for use when a medical or other emergency requires quick directions on further care. Our firm can assist you in the production of a Do Not Resuscitate request, with proper execution of the document and distribution to your physician(s).
